Lucy Thabes Riess is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Louisiana. She holds degrees of Master of Business Administration from the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane, and Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology from Newcomb College of Tulane University. She served on the faculty of the A.B. Freeman School of Business as an Adjunct Professor of Accounting and Taxation from 1987 - 1999 and 2001 - 2005 where she received the Beta Alpha Psi 1989 BSM Distinguished Accounting Professor award. She has been a frequent speaker at the University of Montana Tax Institute.
